Retail design sprint
What is a Retail design sprint?
A retail design sprint at Expedit is a 5-day process for rapidly creating new retail concepts or improving existing ones. It compresses potentially months of work.
Why use a Retail design sprint?
It’s no longer enough to have a “nice-looking store”, you need to engage and inspire your customers by creating spaces for authentic experiences. A retail design sprint is the fastest way to test new concepts. Don’t invest months of time, invest a week.
How does a Retail design sprint look?
The Retail design sprint is essentially a 5-day intense creative boot camp. Monday and Tuesday we work in person with you, our client, to define the challenges, scope of the week and deciding what challenges to prototype. Wednesday and Thursday our designers build a 3D and VR prototype of the concept, which is then presented for you on Friday.
What is the exact outcome?
The outcome of a retail design sprint week is a 3D and VR prototype of your new retail concept with clear insights on where to go next. The concept elements are ready for technical documentation and subsequent production.
What happens after a retail design sprint?
You’re very close to having your new retail concept. All we need is to make the technical documentation and production of the elements.
